The urban distribution network of power system is the important joint which connects the transmission network of power system to customers. It is not only the main load center of the power system, but also the vital part of the municipal fundamental facility. Its construction, modification and operation efficiency and security affect the efficiency of the whole system and the electric quality of the general customer greatly.Geographic information system (GIS) which arose as a new subject during the 70s of the 20th century has already been applied to many fields because of its powerful capability of data management and space analysis. The planning of the distribution network of power system based on the geography information system can display the space and attribute data intuitively. With the help of the function of spatial analysis, resource distribution and optimal path choice of GIS, the time for the planning of distribution network of power system might be greatly reduced,and the GIS also assists to locate the optimum position for substation and find the optimum network and avoids the positions where are not suitable to build the substation and network ,such as the mountainous region, the rivers and so on.Based on the above consideration, the content of the thesis is as following:After the deep analysis of the existing planning method and model for the distribution network of power system, the thesis proposes firstly the integrated planning model for the distribution network. Taking account of factors, including the distribution of load and the existing stations to be decided to enlarge the capacity, through widely perturbation strategy, the model which overcomes the deficiency of the traditional optimization algorithm, , unifies the problems of searching the optimization location and capacity of substation and the optimization network, and finds the optimization location and capacity of substation and optimization network contemporarily. Further, the thesis develops the graph supporting platform and interface based on GIS which combines optimum algorithm with the graph, and enhances its practicability. The test results show that the integrated planning model for the distribution network of power system has certain superiority comparing with traditional planning algorithm.
