Along with speedily developing of community, improvement of the life level, the automobile in the city-retained amount having sharp increase, the city static communication problem tends towards acuity gradually. How to resolve the hard problem of the city parking, that many countries in the world is seeking the settlement scheme. There is the experience successfully, but also the defeat lesson. Yet the selection adopted to cover an area of the space- parking storehouse of mechanical type that the area is little and parking thickness is tall to be to hurry along to the common understanding. Mechanical parking system as an effective path to improve the hard problem of the city parking has got the vast development forground. The small capacity and economic mechanical parking system has the traits of great needs, easy to popularize, small difficulty of development and convenience. This thesis made the whole structure design of the small capacity and economic mechanical parking system, which can park 9 cars, occupy small area. It includes the steelwork structure design,the feeding mechaniam design,the lift and down organization design, the horizontal sliding organization design. We make the graphic model of the steelwork,gantry tower and the car-parking plank by the software solidworks. I make the mechanical model of the steelwork in ANSYS 9.0 which is a kind of the finite element analysis software by leading the graphic model of the steelwork structural to ANSYS. Considering the cars park on the different position, it will have different influence to the steelwork. So I compute and analyze the strength and rigidity of the steelwork in different condition. We find the weak section of the steelwork. I also analyze the modality of the steelwork in condition of empty loads and full loads, and check the dynamic rigidity of the steelwork. Car-parking plank in different position of the gantry tower has different influence to the gantry tower. So I compute and analyze the strength and rigidity of the gantry tower, find the weak section and analyze the modality, check the dynamic rigidity of the gantry tower. In this thesis not only the design of the mechanical parking system, but also the finite element analysis both lay a strong basis for the popularization, application and further study for the small capacity and economic mechanical parking system.
