The auto industry develops more rapidly and people’s living standards is higher andhigher. The number of private cars is increasing, so the parking problem is realistic.The dissertation introduces about the systematization, working principle, applicablescope, equipment composition the nine categories of the mechanical parking system. Becausethe actual location where the mechanical parking system is built is busy large-scale businessdistrict and has a high flow of people, the vertical garage system of lifting type is chosen asthe final overall design scheme of this paper by a detailed comparison of various mechanicalparking system.The follow-up structure design of the mechanical parking system is based on it to bedone an overall plane layout. The overall modeling of the mechanical parking system isdesigned by the Pro/E5.0, so it lays the foundation for the finite element analysis of thesubsequent chapters. Structure design of the mechanical parking system is one of the mostimportant step in this paper,its specific structure design includes of steel structure, liftingsystem, transverse system, feed system, car-parking plank, the design of the safe hook and theselection of the linear actuator.In the classic version of the ANSYS12.1, the mechanical model is built by the beamelement. I compute and analyze the stress and rigidity of the steelwork in the five differentcondition and do a ten modality. What is more, we find the weak section of the steelwork. Tothe lifting platform and car-parking plank, under the two case of the ideal loads and partialloads, we also compute and analyze their stress and rigidity in the workbench of theANSYS12.1.The mechanical parking system has three kinds of storage-retrieval strategies, such asparking cars priority strategy, taking cars priority strategy and staying await orders strategy. Iuse the mathematic models of time consuming and energy consuming to do the emulation tothe resolution by the MATLAB software. Finally, the paper gets a correct conclusion by thecomparison between these models made on the base of emulation result.
