Hybrid electric vehicle, as a kind of new energy vehicle that most close to application at present, which integrates the merits of conventional vehicle and electric vehicle, will have a bright future. Vehicle Control Unit (VCU), whose main function is energy management and powertrain control, is the control center of a HEV. Parameters in VCU, which are one of key factors for realizing the performance of a HEV, need to be optimized and calibrated.Calibration is a crucial step of developing VCU, while the calibration system decides the calibration quality, time and costs. CAN Calibration Protocol (CCP) is used to realize reliable, precise dynamic calibration with high communication speed. After brief introduction to the CCP and the composing of calibration hardware and software, this paper introduces how to design CCP driver for VCU, yet the realization of on line programming. To adapt to complicated operation condition, the control strategy is divided into four modes: start mode, idle mode, driving mode and brake mode, which...
