With the development of the national economy, the demands for the electric energy are increasing greatly, at the same time, the fluctuations of the demands result in a huge wastes of power generate abilities. So, research and design of meter-reading system with time division charge function are highly significant, they can solve the problem effectively.Two key technologies of remote meter reading are studied first: The noise, channel characteristics and spread spectrum modulation and demodulation of low voltage power line are deeply researched; Theory and implementation of electronic power measurement are also studied.System functions are defined by referencing related product and considering the needs of current and future. A remote meter reading terminal is designed based on AT89S52 to implement those functions.KS3010, KS3020 is used as communication chip. The terminal receives commands and returns corresponding data by power line communication. A set of relay protocols are designed to make the system have relay function, which spread the work range of concentrator and reduce the costs of installation and maintenance.BL0932B is used to measure power. BL0932 convert power into pulse, which is the input of pulse counter of AT89S52.RX8025 is used as time division clock. When the time is equal to setting value, interrupt is generated and time division dealing program is called by AT89S52. 8 segments time division charge is realized, and time segment can modify at any time remotely.Interrupt is used to detect power off. So data can conserved quickly without losing.Front-back architecture and time-sharing technology are used in Software design, they make system respond promptly.Plenty of techniques are used for anti-jamming: Hardware methods including the use of anti-jamming elements, separation of interfering source and sensitive equipment and rational placement of elements; software methods including using of watchdog and data verification.The remote meter reading terminal based on AT89S52, which has rational software and hardware, low producing and maintaining cost, high reliability andfriendly user interface, is easy for operating.
