In the current management mode of relay protection, devices and the backstage management is completely independent, which lead a low management level. The development level of the management informatization on relay protection equipment business process is too low to meet the need for intensification, automation, intelligent management of the electricity production along with the development of the smart grid At present, the automatic recognitiontechnology has been widely used in various fields of identity such as retail, logistics and transport, post and communication, electronic government, industrial, military, animal husbandry management etc.This paper studies the relay protection equipment management system based on wireless radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, electronic label applied to relay protection equipment is designed, convenient and practical relay protection equipment management system of intelligent mobile terminal design with flat computer is used and a large number of test verification is carried out.The main research is as follows:1) The equipment management system of relay protection is designed based on the mechanism analysis of wireless radio frequency identification technology. The system consists of an electronic tag in relay protection equipment, the handheld mobile terminal and background data management system.2) The electronic label appearance requirements is investigated for a variety of relay protection equipment, the tag data format conforms to the characteristics of equipment management of relay protection and safety protection scheme is designed3) According to the needs of the management of relay protection equipment, a mobile terminal platform based on flat panel computer is selected.the mobile terminal management software is also designed and developed.4) The mobile terminal security access scheme is designed, make the field data of relay protection equipment can achieve the intercommunication with the full cycle management and statistical analysis system and condition maintenance system.5) Test for the test equipment management system of relay protection is done. A variety of indicators of electronic tag read-write information sensitivity, distance and speed is tested. Test between the intelligent designed mobile terminal and the existing hand-held terminals is compared.The results of this study can be used for the relay protection equipment on the whole business process management. This new type of relay protection equipment management system provides favorable conditions for the smart grid of new generation, which improve the level of management of field devices and improve work efficiency.
