With China shipping growing, The world market of ship repairing is shifting to the developing country including China. Lifeboat repairing and testing is an important ship inspection item for ship, but shore crane and shifting crane is very busy in ship repairing company. In the past the crane need help repairing lifeboat for dismantling, transporting and testing, so the research on special equipment for repairing lifeboat makes sense.This dissertation analyzes the necessity of the research and the economy of using for the trailer and testing frame for lifeboat, and compare with old repairing mode. The trailer and testing frame design according to more simple design and more practicality. This dissertation introduces the lifeboat and routine repairing items for lifeboat. In order to make the trailer and testing frame easily understood, the design of Flash shows the operating process.In the design of lifeboat trailer, the trailer adds air pressure system design for loading and unloading lifeboat. The trailer beam and the pin of beam are main forced parts, so they have been analyzed in force and intensity checkout. The support in the trailer beam is adjustable; the two assistant sides' supports connect with lifeboat splint with sphericity connection; the design of stop pins and lifting studs are also innovative. In the design of air pressure system, there is not return loop and oxygen release pressure gauge. Those show the simple design, more applicability and safety. In order to make the design and calculation simply, the program is compiled with AutoCAD VBA exploitation tools.In the lifeboat testing frame design, the testing frame construct refer to the lifeboat davit on the ship. The testing frame can be circumrotated; this reaches to the testingrequirement for the different type lifeboat. The transmission type of testing frame is madecertain according to the lifting and lowering speed and total weight of lifeboat test. Theelectromotor, reduction gear box, drum, steel wire and so on are designed and selected.
