Along with the social and economic development and the rapid increase of motor vehicles in China (especially the private cars), the parking problems become increasingly serious in many cities. The urban parking facilities of china has rapidly achieved since 1996, but it is still at the beginning stage from both policy of government and planning,design,construction and management compared with the developed countries and virtual demand of our country, it has the prodigious difference between the quantities of parking lots and virtual demand,the inherent concepts of the management of parking facilitiess haven't converted ,up to present ,the department of management of our country hasn't issued any more comprehensive rule and method refer to parking planning,construction,compulsive means,the present single code,policy,rule hasn't fit much better to the present status.This paper studies on"urban transportation project of shijiazhuang on parking planning research", based on the present status of civil cities,analyzing the factors that influence the parking demand,set up predicting model of demand of parking lots,based on the future quantities of demand of parking lots which predicted in detail on every district of shijiazhuang in characteristic monthly. Comparing with domestic and overseas experiences of management of parking lots,analyzes the policy of planning development,supplying structure and distributing planning principle of parking facilities and ensure measures of execution of parking planning from angles of parking planning,construction and management.This paper brings forward some policy of management of parking facilities ,which coincide with status of our country ,it also provides some choice policy and method for urban static traffic planning,parking management.
