Research On Industrial Wasteland Landscape Renovation Method

Industrial wasteland gradually emerges with the deterioration of the environment and the decline of traditional industries. To industrial wastelands, Western countries not only have ecological restoration and landscape regeneration but also emphasize on culture, history and art protection. Nowadays, China is in the reform period of the industrial structure readjustment, so there is a large amount of industrial waste to produce. It will be practical significance that we learn successful experience which using ecological landscape design method to renovate and update abandoned industrial land from Western countries.This dissertation first systematically summed up the background and development processes of abandoned industrial land in Western countries on the basis of industrial wasteland types, location also design style. Through several case studies, get a clear understanding to theory and practice about industrial wasteland restoration. Afterwards, summarize landscape design methods which use to solve a number of problems occurred during the waste land reform process. Finally, give strategies about China's industrial wasteland restoration in accordance with China's specific conditions.
