The lift arm design of the all terrain crane is one of the most important aspect for the all terrain crane designer.Also the lift arm is one of the most import part of the all terrain crane.It is composed of telescopic boom and jib.In the process of the testing at the experiment field, wo find the boom seldom appears a problem, but the jib again and again appears a problem, for example strength breakage and stability breakage.The main problem lies in the fact that at the initial stage to settle parameter, the calculation have great capacity and hand-checking computations have bad accuracy, usually different designer having different checking results.Worstly, hand-checking computations are excessive to simplification and assumption of computation formula ,for example supposing the main boom up end turning angle to be 3~5°.Solving the problems above, wo can consider the parameterized finit element analysis, but at the initial stage it is difficut to offer the practicality structure parameter and it takes a greate more time to analysis and also it can not realize the calculation of the lift capability table.Therefore, parameterized finit element analysis is not suitable for the initial stage design.QYFB is the beginning calculation program exclusively for the all terrain crane jib.The realization of the QYFB make the designer to release from the fussy hand-checking computations or half hand-checking computations and make the designer to concerntrate on designing the structure and the improving on.By dint of QYFB, the designer can get the results what they want as soon as possible, consequently it offers reliable design data. The development of QYFB program experienced successively for a year for the sake of reliability, usefulness, credibility and functionality of program and about experienced seven steps:1st step:going to Xuzhou Heavy machinery Corporation and coorperating with the designers, we master the exist analytical calculation together and accidencely confirm the demand of the designer.2nd step:going back to our university, we conclude the analytical calculation formula according to the notebook and manual of the crane and investigation rationality of the formula.Finally, we use iterative method for calculating the the main boom up end turning angle.3rd step:going back to the Xuzhou Heavy Machinary Corporation Company, we talk about the analytical calculation formula together.At the same stage, we finish the testing and computing report of the QAY240.4th step:going back to our university, we begin programing with C++ language and Visual C++ IDE Tool.We program the calculation core.5th step:using the GUI development tool C++Builder, we finish the GUI of the main program and using the Viusal Basic finish the Generating Word Report .6th step:on the basis of the QAY240 testing report,we debug the program together and analysis the result by program, and finish the QYFB 1.0 edtion.7th step:going back to the Xuzhou Heavy Machinary Corporation Company,we train the designer how to use the program generating results what they want.Also, we amend and modify the program serveral times.Finally, QYFB 3.0 edition naissance.About all of the above sevent steps, every step is essential. For this kind of special calculation program, if there are no technical exchanges with the business enterprise and actual testing analysis as a according, the program is unmeaningful at all. So before the beginning programing, we did a great more prepare work.At fisrt, we test the QAY240 jib and do technical exchanges with the enterprise.Finally, wo make certern on the calculation of the formula.Programing QYFB is made up of three parts.First is Calculation Core, second is Main GUI, third is PostPrecessor.The three parts spend nearly four month. In the large metals structure's design, special parameterized FEA tools make good use to check the safety of machinary, but at the beginning of the product, with experience to carry on overall design, still needing can quickly carry on valuation to the function of product, so analytical method program is in need.In this thesis, we just develop analytical method of the all terrain crane jib.There is stiill a lot of work to exchange with the enterprise.
