The bridge-type crane is broadly used in the every realm of national economic construction and the productions have already become general and series pattern. With the rapid development of economic construction, the customer requests not only to enhance machine capability but also to cut the design period. But the current design and intensity calculation work is mainly completed by handicraft, the repeated workload is very big. In order to enhance the design level and efficiency of the bridge-type crane ,the paper have a systemic study to the crane bridge and draws up practical parametric finite element method analysis software by using finite element method and parametric further-development technology. By using the software, crane bridge is expected to be accurately and efficiently designed, and completely incarnate in functionality, economy and reliability.(1) According to characteristics of the metal structure of the crane bridge, we can make an appropriate simplification to the structure of crane bridge, and establish finite element model which can accurately reflects actual situation. On this base, by using finite element method and parametric further-development technology, finite element model of crane bridge can be automatically established and meshed.(2) Making use of the Ansys and taking the Visual Basic as developable tool, draw up a set of practical, dependable, general, simple applied procedure. With using this procedure, crane bridge can be realized finite element auto analysis by inputting a little amount basic parameter.(3) Take random a type from 192 types of the 5-50t EOTCS bridge-type crane with double beams as basic parameter to validate the reliability of the procedure.In this paper, the 20t-22.5m-A5 bridge-type crane's main beam and carry beam are taken as basic models and their parameters as referenced parameters.This paper has important actual meaning in enhancing crane bridge's design level and efficiency, applying modern finite element method, strengthening enterprise's reaction speed to the market, improving enterprise's competition.
