Study On Design Method Of Displacement Ventilation In Shopping Mall Buildings

As a mean of ventilation to provide good IAQ and save energy, Displacement ventilation has been increasingly used in many cases. The purpose of this thesis is to obtain a design method of displacement ventilation in shopping mall.Through analyzing the current design method of displacement ventilation and comparing their advantage and disadvantage, the idea of current design method is gotten. Design method of displacement ventilation in shopping mall is gotten through a lot CFD simulation and analysis. This design method can provide a probably value of supply air volume of displacement ventilation in shopping mall at initial design stage. Or this design method can provide an initial value for CFD design.Through analyzing study of the supply air flow character and simulating of displacement ventilation having a obstacle with bottom opening, this thesis conclude that obstacle with bottom opening have little influence of displacement supply air flow. And in low Archimedes number supply air displacement ventilation room, the length scaleδis not only the function of Archimedes number but also the function of the distant x to diffuser.A displacement ventilation combined supply hot air upward at outside wall side method was used in outside zone in shopping mall. The study conclude that the velocity of the hot air upward at outside wall was related to the displacement ventilation supply air volume.
