Quantitative Analysis On Urban Spatial Forms And Research On Sustainable Development Of The Center-Park Area In Tianjin

The Central-park area is one of the better preserved historical areas of Tianjin. It should maintain its historical style characteristic and be adapt to the up-to-date life to protect and renew the area. The research bases on the urban spatial form which constitutes the history style characteristic. Throgh the review of the research of the urban spatial form before, there are three insufficiencies on the research of urban spatial form: One is absent of the support of foreign theory when analyzing the urban spatial form; one lacks the quantitative study of the urban spatial form; another lacks the sustainable development research of the urban spatial form.This article bases on the detailed investigation of the urban spatial form in the Central-park area. It uses the relative urban space theory and the analysis methods for reference to make quantitative analysis of the local urban space form, and proposes the concrete guide line to control the spatial form; Refers to the relative foreign theory, the actuality of the Center-park area as well as the programming of development localization in Tianjin, it discusses how to increase the new urban functions to content the contemporary requirements in the area; it tries to promote the adaptive reuse of old architectures and the sustainable development of the area; in view of the preservation and renewal of the urban space of the Central-park area, it proposes the overall conceives and suggestions for furture development.
