The Protection And Development Of The Southwest Silk Road

This paper, first of all, presents some international and domestic charters, declarations, decrees, laws and regulations of protecting historical&cultural towns and regions, tries to find out a scientific way for the protection and development of the Southwest Silk Road on the basis of these international charts, declarations, decrees, laws and regulations, and combining with actual situations in our country and the Southwest Silk Road.Several examples about the protection and development of historical&cultural towns and regions are analyzed in the paper. One of them is domestic and the other three are overseas, these four examples suggest the different ways and modes to protect and develop historical&cultural towns and regions. In the last, I illustrate some of my opinions of protecting historical&cultural towns and regions. That is to promote the protection and development of the Southwest Silk Road under the operation of market system and depends on society force; to combine the protection and development of historical&cultural towns and regions with the construction of towns and villages, furthermore, the relevant tour development will be certainly helpful for the protection and development of historical&cultural towns and regions.
