Application Study And Design Of Low Grade Urban Roads Of Beijing Xicheng County

Traffic congestion and contradiction which is more and more serious between supply and demand are becoming the most important problems in most China large and middle-sized cities. But at the same time, lots of hutong and alleys in center city are not used fully enough, and most of the them are in a condition of being developing. For there is few or no Demolition and Eviction, so we can increase the volume of area and mileage of urban roads in a more economical way.Alleys in cities, especially hutong in old city zone which have a long history usually have a narrow sizes, but they often distribute in internal blocks. We can use these resources of hutong and alleys in way of setting one way street and bus lane. The purpose of this article is to illuminate how to use alleys and hutong to set one way street.As a basis of study, first the article introduce the basic condition of xciheng county, ncluding the economic and social conditions, traffic conditions, road network conditions for a detailed analysis and presentation. And then, on the analysis and presentation, I deduced the problems of xicheng county's road network and influence aroused by those problems; Second, combing the actual condition of xicheng county, the article make a brief introduction of the theory of one way street; the most important part of this article is the fourth section, in this section, there will be a planning design of one way street using hutong and alleys in xicheng county; The study includes mainly in Beijing's Xicheng District set the feasibility of the single line, a typical regional design demonstrations, and Beijing's Xicheng District for the single line design requires attention to the problem and the need to adhere to the principles.The article concluded that the main part of this research, Study to be made to further deepen the number of issues and the direction of development.
