Research On The Parking Demand Forecast And The Planning Of The Public Parking Lot About Beijing

With the swiftness and violence increase of the automobiles recoverable number, the imbalance between supply and demand of parking is outstanding in many cities. The problem of city automobile parking has become more and more obviously. As the political center of our country and the developed city, Beijing is especially obvious on this problem which has become the focal point and difficult point of the city's planning and management. The purpose of this paper is to be that providing the train of thought and method to solve this problem.Planning of parking is an important part of city planning. The first, the author has done lots of research on big city's parking supply and management situation, analyses the problems of parking situation which rise up the importance of the parking demand forecast. Parking demand forecast is the key content of urban parking planning. Several parking forecast models are discussed and compared to find out suitable model to meet domestic characteristic parking demand. On the basis of parking forecast model, the author does further research on the parking planning and structure's research. After the analysis of parking situation of Beijing and research of several parking forecast models, the author does the forecast of Beijing parking demand. The parking demand is forecasted in two aspects (the day's parking demand and the night's demand). In the end of the paper, the author gives the scheme of public parking lot' plan in Xicheng District according to the forecast model and plan evaluation indexes, and also carries out evaluation of the parking planning simply.
