With the rapid development of numeric information technology and networktechnology,it is brought forward that the automatization and intelligentization of car。The car player will be also reformed as an important part of car。This paper takes the focus on the development and design of a car-mounted DVD systems。The system has independent intellectual property right。It is car-mounted TV, RADIO, DVD, CDC, TFT display andudio system all functions roled into one, moreover may connect with GPS,RDS directness and used。The system adopts 8-bit control chip ST72321 CPU。Each device interface circuit, communication interface circuit and overlap display circuit of image, graph and character are developed..Interactive function software with Chinese suggestion, device drive interfacesoftware and communication interface software are devised in STVD7 development environment。Through design, experiment and improvement, car-mounted multimedia udion-visual system of complete software/hardware functions is devised .It realizes connect-conformity and controlment for input/output of car-mounted audion-visual devices。Prototype of a machine loading and testing and car-mounted audion-visual devices active system are produced。The system is steady operation is convenient cost performance ratio is high operating state interface is goodo。Good pictures, personality icons are displayed quickly。This paper firstly introduces status and research background in and out the country。Secondly we propose the framework for the overall design, system hardware design, the design idea of software based on component and implementation of the control software based on the idea。The paper finally gives the result of system test。Through testing, the system can work well and achieved a stable performance.
