The thesis research the train speed control relevant calculation including strength analysis, brake distance and simplified calculation of the gradient. After discussing the typical structure of ATC, the function of the train-carried speed control system and the relation with other parts, absorbing the experience of the foreign train speed control ,we work out the ATP speed control simulation algorithm. Finally, we developing the train-carried speed control simulation system software based on network and database using VC++. This system has realized the supervision of the train speed in real time. According to the limiting conditions of the train operation, it can control the train automatically , and realized the over speed protection. So using the method of simulation, starting with structure , function and dynamics principle to study train control system, learning and drawing lessons from foreign advanced method, we developed the train carried software which accords with the railway conditions of our country. There are four types of modules: train operation display; train-carried speed control; operation environment display; operation environment control. The software adopts configuration modeling, having better human-computer interaction interfaces, and very good commonability and opening. The simulator can operate the train on the line making sure the rail-side data and can research the train control arithmetic using the right data. It has reached the anticipated design object basically according to the result. Using this research method, it has characteristic such as being short of economy , security , test period. So it has its important realistic meanings to developing the ATC devices with independent intellectual property.
