With the development of reform in power system and the changes of the current power use, the management and control of power load in power network regulation is getting more and more important, and it is becoming a study hotspot.To solve the problems that our company's load control system existent, this study has Motorola embedded 32 Processor PowerPc as the platform of hardware, and the embedded operation system Linux as the platform of application. To meet the needs of the power clients, design a new model of power load control and monitor system. The main work as follows:1) To ensure the multiple processes in the system being able to visit the reading and writing parameter timely and accurately, the integration of sharing memory and STL module technology is used for reading and writing.2) Using C++ function base on OOD, to encapsulate the infrastructure of communication as classes, abstract multi-communicate types such as GPRS, serial ports, network etc to create a infrastructure of communication universal dynamic link libraries. So the system supports multi-channel and multi-communication means.3) To solve the problem that the majority of the power load control system is incompatible with the specifications of the domestic electric meters. This system create a communication specification libraries, it can automatically change with the specification by motion loading means along with other different communication means to help the system to connect with different types of electric meters made by different manufacturers rapidly and also is convenient for the system to have the specification expansion. So it can achieve the openness for different communication means and different manufacturers.4) In order to change the config of meters gather neatly base on actual fieldwork, ensure this system needn't upgrade for meter' s config, the electric meter collection and remote communication report uses the task regulation system to provide large power quantity and relevant data dictionary. The users can define the data types and quantities for collection and report. The system will update timely the regulation queue according to the conditions and plans set by the users and collect the data and distribute altogether.The system has been tested and installed and used on the Spot of power use. It shows that the system has strong capacity and competitive quality of accuracy, uniqueness, reliability and timeliness. It can be expanded easily and is convenient to move, which reduces the dependability on the hardware platform so that it can serve better for the power system.
