With the rapid development of the national economy and city construction, the energy demand of our country increases very quickly. Building energy consumption amounts to about one fourth of our country's primary energy consumption. Generally, about 65% of the building energy is consumed by air conditioning systems. Energy saving design is the most effective method to save energy. Its proportion will increase more and more. At present, the residential building energy efficiency of our country has a long distance with the nation's demand and with the other countries. Therefore, the building's energy simulation especially the residential building energy efficiency should be given much more consideration and be researched as an important task..This paper introduces the main features and capabilities of a new dynamic building energy simulation software- BECS2006. Takes a typical residential building in Dongguan city of the he hot summer and warm winter zone as an example for thermal testing , and experimental test of thermal characteristics of building envelopes in summer is carried. Compares experimental data with simulated results by BECS2006, analyzes the main reasons of errors,and validates reliability of simulated results.The energy consumption of typical residential building in Dongguan city is simulated by dynamic simulation. Uses BECS2006 to simulate the energy efficiency especially in orientation, wall materials, roof materials, roof angle and heat preservation of window. Indicates the south and the north or close to them is better for buildings, heat preservation and insulation outside is better than inside, roof energy lies on thickness of heat preservation and insulation layer., the bigger roof angle is, the more energy consumption is and less Sc less energy consumption and so on. BECS2006 can be used as theory reference for the building energy efficiency design in this area..This paper puts forward economic analysis of energy efficiency, namely economic benefit of energy efficiency. Brings forward 200mm steam aerated concrete, EPS outer wall, 35mm XPS roof suit to Dongguan city by calculation. Introduces energy efficiency technology , for instance ,virescence, hot water system, air condition, illumination, solar illumination, economy on water and electricity and so on.
