Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) is a series of management and technical support activities which refer to the Total Life-cycle, meet the system requirements of the Readiness, lower Life-Cycle Cost, considerate the problems of the logisitcs support seriously, determine requirements for supportability, develop and plan support resources, provide the needs for logistics timely. The ILS in this paper is a widened support concept, which covers the equipment's RMSTS Engineering such as Reliability, Maintenability, Supportability, Testability, and Saferity. At present, there are a large number of support issues in our army, such as lacking the proper supportability design standards in the design stage, high logistics cost when the army uses equipments and long cycle of forming support ability when new equipments are first used in army. Therefore, we need to research ILS.In this paper, we analysed ILS which is based on the Total Life-cycle, and then we established the initial ILS key technology architecture and investigated the softwares related with ILS. Finally based on GIS we analysed the assistant optimum decision of ILS. Among the study and the main works are as follows:1. To avoid confusing concepts and describe this paper clearly, we explained the concepts related with ILS in this paper. And then we introduced the development of domestic and foreign ILS. We summarized the development tendancy of the ILS;2. Based on the Total Life-cycle, we established the key technology system of ILS. We detially investigated the key technology in each phase of ILS such as project investigation, design, demonstration and evaluation, experimental verification, deployment and application, etc. We studied the application of the key technology in four aspects such as the general technologies, the project design, the experimental verification and the application;3. In view of various elements in ILS's Total Life-cycle, we systematically studied the functions and features of domestic and foreign softwares related with ILS, and then analysed the availability of the secondary development of those softwares;4. We analysed the applications of GIS in ILS and the assistant optimal decision of ILS based on GIS, and then we used SuperMap Objects components to realize the objects of shortest pathes and warehouses'location optimizingly.The problems of ILS are major issues in building equipment system in our army. This paper explored some aspects of ILS. By the research of this paper, we can do better in the following works such as modelling and simulation of ILS, concurrent design, system optimization and so on.
