Mass trans-cracks frequently appeared in the runner blade of Francis turbine, it had a major impact to the safety production. AE (Acoustic Emission) technique was used widely in equipment of nondestructive examination and on-line monitoring as a new dynamic detecting way. To monitor it on-line with AE technique, the AE data sample system based on PCI card was not directly adopted because of the local fixing condition, so it was necessary to develop a simple and handy AE data sample system which adapted to the locale.In this article, on the basis of the comparison of price and fuction on current different AE data sample systems , it combined the excellence of DSP, put forward choosing the DSP chip as the core of the AE data sample system; then, it firstly put up analyse and design as a whole, nextly according to a typical high-speed DSP data sample system, the high-speed,multi-channels and simultaenous AE data sample system was developed.In the process of development, in hardware, the chip ADS7864 was applied to realize high-speed, multi-channels and simultaenous sample, the DSP chip TMS320C6713 was applied to realize sample control, interrupt control, signal dispose, data communications, the USB2.0 chip CY7C68001 was applied to realize high-speed data transmission etc. In software, the target which system initialization, sample control of TMS320C6713 to the ADS7864, communication between TMS320C6713 and CY7C68001, primary signal dispose with FIR filter etc, were realized on the platform of CCS; the PC software of USB2.0 data reception was realized based on VC tool.Finally, after the whole system was integrated, the experimentation ofpencil break off, metal stretch and metal fatigue were validated. The system achieved the anticipated purpose.When the data sample system was applied to the locale, the transmission way could change the USB2.0 to wireless.This article was part of the work supported by the State Natural Science Fund project 'The Crack Monitor Theory and Method Research of Runner Blade of Francis Turbine (50465002)'.
