Electric Vehicle (EV) is now undergoing a development apex under the pressureof energy resource and environment preservation issues. More and more EV relatedproducts have been put into the market with the development of electronictechnologies. Pure EV is difficult to maintain sufficient drive distance due to severaltechnology difficulties. Thus, the Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) is now being paidmore attention.There is much different type of Hybrid Electric Vehicles, but various in structural.The main research of this paper is about the parallel Hybrid Electric Vehicle. But theextant parallel Hybrid Electric Vehicle power transmission adopted two kind oftechnical routes: One kind is that the coupling,the power synthesizer and thetransmission separate, in the independent structure. But it has many shortcomings thatthere are many transmission components joins, and some difficulties in spatialarrangement and system assembly; Another kind is the highly integrates way, themodular design of the planetary gears, its merit is that the spatial size is very small,extremely compact. As the same, its shortcoming is very evidence. It request redesignthe engine and the electrical machinery according to the spatial size, so is unable tochoose from the extant series of engine and electromotor, moreover, machining andarrangement difficulty.The following paper introduces a kind of a new self-shifting transmissioncoupling box which collects clutch, the power synthesis and the speed changefunction. As improve from the mechanical transmission foundation, its structure issimple, modifies slightly and invests slightly. Not only collection power synthesis,speed change function in a body, but reduced the transmission components andcompact in structure. The execute control system is the electronic air valve controlimplementing, the principle of work is suppleness, easy to realize the automaticcontrol.Proposed the Automatic Shift Coupling transmission in this paper, one new kindof energy management strategy is advised, which take the torque control strategy asthe fundamental rule and combine to the engine efficiency with economical andemission. Base on engine stable state efficiency characteristic, combine to thecondition of accumulator cell and electromotor, with the torque as the most maincontrol variable in the energy management strategy, reasonably carries on the real-time assignment to the engine and the electromotor output power.This paper uses the UG software to carry on the three dimensional model of theParallel Hybrid Electric Vehicle's Automatic Shift Coupling Transmission, andconnecting simulation to Automatic Shift Coupling Transmission by usingADAMS/Controls and MATLAB/Simulink, then giving some adjustment to theAutomatic Shift Coupling Transmission design. Established a simple hypothesizedsimulation system to carries on the feasible confirmation about the torque controlstrategy, it is help for later further research and application.
