A Study On Landscape Spatial Planning Of Urban Natural Elements

As an essential component of urban morphology,urban natural element, in a certain way,formed the city's overall characteristics. A city's cognitive system, based on urban morphology of natural elements,can create a unique genius loci and enhance people's identification of urban public space.Urban natural elements reflect the unique topography of the land, and it also can promote the forming of the city characteristics ,change the same appearance of Chinese cities.At the same time, rational distribution of natural elements also help control urban sprawl , improve urban climate, preserve urban ecological balance and prevent the natural disasters, so as to create a better urban ecological environment and a harmonious urban landscape.The thesis was about the urban morphology of natural elements research.The paper began with the"shared the cake"type of development and urban expansion resultted in the damage of natural elements and the lost of urban characteristics. By studying and analyzing the experience and related theories , it try to explore the relationship between urban natural elements and the process of city,to explain urban morphology and image of city combined with natural elements. Then the paper sought to explore how to combine the rich natural elements with the overall level of urban design to creat a good natural environment integrated with the city, to promote the integration of artificial environment and the natural environment as urban design concepts, to establish a urban design target that blends with the nature.Finally,it try to apply the theoty to wuxi practical urban design.First chapter-introduction.The thesis first stated the research meaning of urban natural elements, then limited the concept of"urban natural elements", finally proposed the main research content,method and frame.Second chapter– natural elements and urban development process. From the traditional city development pattern in formerly industry time, to the exploration of urban planning theories and the practice in industry time, and ecology ideas involved in the urban design in post-industry time, this chapter elaborated the relationship between natural elements and the city development process.Third chapter -natural elements and urban space. First, from the image of the city, the urban morphology, and the city characteristic space ,the thesis elaborated natural elements and the city's spatial relationship, then it proposed the urban natural elements landscape space's shape analysis method, the construction of landscape space frame, the landscape space appraisal standard. Fourth chapter - urban landscape space planning of Wuxi based on natural elements structure. The thesis introduced the natural elements landscape space planning as an example of Wuxi. First,it introduced the project's summarizes and the urban morphology development of Wuxi.Scend, it refined the urban natural elements, summarized the relationship between natural elements and the urban development in various stages.Then it proposed the Wuxi natural elements landscape space planning frame and the suggestion of natural ecology space optimization.Fifth chapter - conclusion and discussion. It summarized the spatial layout of natural elements'green network in regional scope,and proposed the protection and the development suggestion from the big plane.
