A lot of sluices constructed since 1949 are important constituent of hydraulic basic facilities of our country. Disease problems of those hydraulic structures often emergence after it have undergo application and operation for a long time. Removing disease problems and ensuring project safety have become urgent requirement of national economic sustaining development.Barrier tide sluice reinforcement project of Doulong harbor (jiangsu province sea embankment achievement building project) have been detected, tested and calculated, existent engineering problems have been analyzed profoundly. A reinforcement scheme is investigated on the basis of analysis.(1) A synthesis assessment about bulk performance of concrete quality of the sluice is put forward from lock chamber settlement, concrete extrinsic feature quality, principal flaw of concrete. Subsequently, the reinforcement scheme is put forward.(2) Some problems have been analyzed and calculated as follows: antiskid stability, infiltration stability and construction strength. Subsequently, non-uniform and origin is been rechecked from intensity and stability of doulong harbor and degree of safety of the harbor is been evaluated .The analysis indicates the reinforcement is indispensable.(3) The analysis is carried out about non-uniform settlement disposal and deloading effect of lock chamber. Importantly reinforcement scheme of sluice pier, bent and operating bridge is been investigated and in practical reinforcement effect is in good working order.(4) Reinforcement and protection of concrete of the sluice is been decided on the basis of analysis profoundly of fissure, carbonization of armoured concrete. Prevention of corrosion of the steel anchor gate of inshore is been analyzed and discussed on the basis of facing problem of steel anchor gate rot-proof design of doulong harbor .
