The sluice is an important part of the environmental protection in water conservancy infrastructure,which is widely used as a building for retaining,draining or taking water,and has made great contributions to social and economic development.Most of the sluices in our country were built in the 1950 s and 1960 s,the metal structures and buildings were close to the service life,and there are mang phenomenons that water seepage,collapse,damage to electrical equipment and so on due to various restrictions,which have seriously affected the safe operation of the sluice.So the consolidate work of sluice is very important,and sluice's safety evaluation will affects the consolidate work directly.At present,the main methods of safety evaluation of sluice are hierarchical analysis,gray evaluation and fuzzy decision theory.,but did not solve the problems of security classification result qualitative fuzzy and risk of safety uncertainly.In order to solve the problems existing in the safety evaluation of the sluices,thestudy puts forward the safety evaluation method of the sluice based on the failure mode.Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign research results,thestudy take 40 culvert reinforced concrete sluice with safety evaluation in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River as the research object,and analyzes the safety evaluation of the sluice using the basic principle of failure mode.The main contents and research results as follows:(1)By analyzing the basic principles of FMECA,evaluation targetand characteristics of the sluice,it is determined that the objective of FMECA and the safety evaluation of the sluice are the same,in other words,this method is suitable forthe safety evaluation ofsluices.(2)According to the evaluation procedure of FMECA,the functional structure,failure mode,basic parameters and RPN of the sluice are determined,and make the classification of safety more clear,describing The basic steps of FTA analysis with thesimple example.(3)the studyevaluates the sluice in the lower reaches of the Yellow River by FMECA and FTA analysis methods.The results show that the safety evaluation of the sluice based on FMECA is effective and feasible;As the same time can get the level of each safety index through the analysis offailure mode of the secondary system of the sluice,which determine the safety category of the sluice can be justified.By solving the minimum cut sets can find the risk of sluiceaccurately,which provide guiding suggestions for the reinforcement.This method has a profound influencefor the safety evaluation of sluicein theoretical value and use value.
