The information terminal in the networked manufacturing, especially in the shop floor usage, is one of the key equipments when networked manufacturing is employed. And data acquisition system may promote the information integration of manufacture enterprise, is implements in the synthesis automation and the long-distance monitoring foundation in the networked manufacturing. Because each industry field condition is different, the requirement of data acquisition and control is not same. Moreover, each kind of information terminal's architecture and principle are different too. Therefore it's very significative to research how to expediently expand the data acquisition and control module, which is also a key point of this article studies.Firstly, the R&D of data acquisition system is discussed in the paper, and the application actuality of industry ethernet and USB bus are summarized. Then present a way that use industrial ethernet and USB bus to extend data acquisition and control module in the information terminal. And the functions of the two modules are described later.Secondly, the key technologies of industry ethernet and USB bus which use in data acquisition and control system are described in detail. The architecture of Industry Ethernet and USB bus and their advantage are discussed later. And then the realization and selection of main components are discussed.Thirdly, the hardware and software design of two modules are introduced. The industry ethernet module uses the C8051F020 as its main control chip, and use RTL8019AS to realize the 10Mbps network connection. The industry ethernet module has also designed 8 channels 12 bit ADC, 2 channels 12 bit DAC, 16 channels I/O input, 8 channels I/O output, a RS232 serial port and a RS485 serial port. The software part of Industry Ethernet module mainly introduced the network driver and the embedded TCP/IP stack realization. The USB module uses the CY7C68013 as its main control chip and USB transceiver. CY7C68013 connect ADS7852 and DAC7802 with GPIF to realize 8 channels 12 bit ADC and 2 channels 12 bit DAC. Besides, the USB module has also designed 8 channels I/O input, 8 channels I/O output, a RS232 serial port and a RS485 serial port. The software part of USB module mainly introduced waveform design of GPIF and firmware design of CY7C68013.Finally, the applications of these two data acquisition and control modules in the AU1X00 series embedded information terminal are introduced. They have used in the paperless production engineering of Chongqing Machine tool factory, and has obtained the good effect.
