The Safety Organization Management And Organization In The Bayikeji Construction Project

With the rapid development in construction, some serious safe problems come to be more and more obvious in recent years. Following the mining industry, the construction industry has become the most dangerous sector ranking second among causes of death and disability compared with all other industries within the country. The growth of the construction industry has been seriously hindered by this grave situation which also draws much attention from national leaders and people from all social walks of life. At present, the basic unit of building programs in construction enterprises is the project management department. The vast number of accidents also occurred in the process of those specific project programs. Therefore, strengthening the project safety management should be the most direct and important aspect in our accidental control efforts. Furthermore, along with the advancement in the study of scientific management worldwide, leaders in construction have increasingly come to realize the great importance of scientific management. The transformation from the traditional production management to a more comprehensive management also eagerly requires the department of project management, an organization responsible for the fulfillment of the concrete construction task, to upgrade and update its project organization management in order to meet the higher demanding of its ever enlarging scale and its more complicated construction needs.This article summarizes the current condition of the project safety and organization management through the author's survey by asking papers collected from relevant people at the construction site and by observing the ongoing construction project governed by some specific engineering bureau, as well as the statistic analysis and the face-to-face interview with the relevant leaders.According to this survey concerning the present situation, based on a serious study of theoretical knowledge and the latest practical results , this article gives a detailed explanation in the respect of the project safety and organization management. Also, combined with the author's own some ten years learning of project management knowledge and much experience got from his first-site management, the author has put forward the measures and strategies to enhance the capacity of that bureau in its the project safety and organization management.Later on, for the purpose of identifying the efficiency and effectiveness of those measures, the author has actively put those strategies into practice during the construction of"the BaYi KeJi Construction Project". As a matter of fact, those practicing activities have already achieved fruitful results: there is a remarkable success derived from our safety and organization management process. Meanwhile, other goals of the project also have been realized within our expectation.This article also gives suggestions of how to apply these researching achievements to other project departments for further confirmation and application and how to continue to research them in a much deeper way, such as modifying some specific management system of bureau, making the new management methods mentioned in this article serve as the set items in the documents of overall management system to regulate and supervise the engineering bureau's construction safety and organization procedure. These conclusions may also benefit those similar enterprises which adopt them.
