With the development of computer technology, CAE technology is widely applied in traditional mechanical industry. A skeleton of a bus body is main bearing part of whole car structure. It is complex to fulfill the situation of stress and a big difficult to analyze of structure. In order to meet the stress need under the different conductions, more and more people pay attention to different kinds of models and FEA.Based on the investigation of the related domestic and overseas research in the domain, combined with the characteristic of half-loading bus, the finite element model of the bus frame was established. Five typical conductions were made under the static analysis: running with the uniform velocity, limited torsion, emergent braking, emergent turning and overturning. In this paper, some data are calculated, such as strength, rigidity, Bending moment, Torque and so on. Distributional feature of stress and strain was analyzed: the dynamic characteristic of the bus frame had been researched in the modal analysis technique. The fifteen orders natural frequencies had been calculated and low-order vibration shape of the body structure was studied. Meantime, a static state strength test was made.The coupling problem of different elements is a key part of preprocessor to blend models. It is needed that a new method to build the relation of the different liberty degree when it must express peculiar details. We often make use of coupling to build the peculiar relation in order to make up the defect. It resolves not only the relation of the liberty degree, but also the forced stress.Present situation of finite element analysis on the entire vehicle was summarized, during the modeling, three models had been established through different element types, such as solid-beam model, shell-beam model and purred beam model. Under different conductions, the information of three models was gotten. In order to seek the optimum model, the data were compared with tentative data. If the comparison is very close, it means that the FEM model is similar to the reality and if the comparison has great difference, it means the model should be modified again. Through analysis, solid-beam model solves the problem of modeling and calculating time and analysis precision, the model is more practical. |
