The Option Control System communications network is at the core of the distributed maglev traffic system, which is closely related to the safe option of maglev train. The communication subsystem of the Option Control System (OCS) is studied systematically in this dissertation, especially questions about the ground segment of communication subsystem, videlicet the network communication between System Management Center (SMC) and Vehicle Control Center (VCC).This dissertation uses dual redundant ethernet as ground communication network meeting the demand of realtime and reliability. And the operating mode and reliability are intrduced. First, on the basis of system data flow analysis and design goal of dual redundant ethernet communication system, this dissertation makes sure about software and hardware architecture. Then the network model, network interface and network protocol of the dual redundant ethernet are decided. And the I/O operation, management of data buffer, network overtime retransmission, and application layer protocol are designed. Finally, dual redundant ethernet is achived by the application programmed in VC and Winsock, using Client/Server model and TCP and IP protocol, which ensure the accuracy and reliability of data communication. And the key network programming e.g. multi-thread, heart-beat monitoring module and network switching module is introduced.
