The automation train protection system (ATP) is a key system to guarantee the train and passengers' safty, and achieve the high speed, high density, operation of the train in order. As the main component of trackside equipment of the ATP, spot responder (Eurobalise) transmit information related to ATP which stored at balise beforehand or sent by CTC at depot to trainborne equipment, and judge the information real-timly with train speed, performance of brake, driver's operating, etc., by trianborne computer, thus realize the accurate control of the train. This paper is concerned with the study of the research and design of relevant information encoding to the ATP in balise equipment, according to signal transmition characteristic of trainbome-ground.This paper start with the technological evolution and trend of ATP of high-speed train, have summarized the domestic and international application and study of spot responder at present. Next, it have analysed mass information transmition of trainborne-ground equipment in detail, such as balise interlinkage information, railway lines. speed-limited information, slope information, operation level switching information, etc. and studied the information combining of the balise under defferent location. In this paper, encoding technology of the user's telegram information is mainly studied present by security and efficiency of encoding, has proposed encoding strategy fit for mass information transmition of trainborne-ground.Finally, the paper carried out emulation research to the information encoding for balise, designed the software emulator and emulate the encoding of balise ,has received the satisfactory result.
