Passenger Dedicated Line's Traction Power Supply Load Modeling On RTDS

In the field of the relay quality supervision and test,The authoritativeness of Real Time Digital Simulator which was developed by the Maniloba's HVDC in Canada has been accepted in the business.It is becoming the best way to develop and manufacture relay protection products with the aid of RTDS testing.For the purpose of getting use RTDS test in the traction power supply system,building such a corresponding simulation model on RTDS has become an urgency.In this paper,firstly we have studied the classic methods of Digital Dynamic Simulation on RTDS,and then gethering the characteristic features of relay in the traction power supply system,we proposed the way to build the model:firstly build it on the platform of Matlab/Simlink and then transplant it to RTDS.In the projection,the whole scheme and every essential parts were builded and make sure that all the results on Matlab/Simlink can be easily used on RTDS.The emphasis of this paper is the load Modeling of traction power supply system.In order to study the loading conditions,we have established the traction power supply system model which was based on the national passenger dedicated line,secondly we have established several EMU models which were based on the most probably loads on the national PDL.At the last part in this paper, several examinations have been taken and the load conditions have been tested by using the traction power supply system and EMU models.We evaluated the inaccuracy and got the parameter and waveform data of the maturity models.The foundation has been made that the traction power supply system simulation models can be finally running on RTDS.
