Study On The Traffic Impact Analysis For Urban Logistics Implant

Traffic impact analysis aims to analyze the traffic impact scope and degree of urban development projects, and establish measures to prevent traffic service level lowering, before the construction of urban development projects.Urban logistics implant, as a kind of big urban development project, is a kind of logistics facility which is set up for urban logistics service demands. Because it generates large traffic demands which impact traffic nearby, and is closer to the center of city than logistics park and logistics center, it is necessary to analyze the traffic impact of urban logistics implant. On the other hand, the interaction between urban logistics implant and traffic system is different from other urban development projects because of its characteristics in function, location, operation and land use. Since there are few studies on above at home and abroad, it is significant to research on the traffic impact analysis of urban logistics implant.This thesis summarized the achievements of traffic impact analysis at home and abroad, studied the characteristics of urban logistics implant, and based on above, proposed the theory and method of traffic impact analysis for urban logistics implant. The main achievements are as follows:1. Proposed the basic concepts on urban logistics implant, and analyzed the background and project characteristics of urban logistics implant nicely.2. Based on the urban logistics implant's project characteristics, analyzed the urban logistics implant's traffic characteristics, which result in the difference between the TIA of urban logistics implant and common TIA, and then put forward the complete work procedure for the TIA of urban logistics implant;3. Since the scale of urban logistics implant is usually measured by its logistics volume, put forward to make logistics volume the qualification of urban logistics implant's TIA insteading of traffic volume;4. Studied the forecast method of urban logistics implant's traffic demand, and put forward the category generation method to forecast the freight traffic demands of urban logistics implant;5. Since it is not good of using service level of traffic facilities to reflect the impact degree of project, proposed the traffic impact degree companied with the analysis of disturbance to reflect the impact degree of urban logistics implant;6. Based on practices, put forward the improvement measures including the improvment of traffic management and optimization of traffic organization.Nowadays, logistics industry in China develops quickly. Urban logistics implant, as an important part of urban logistics network, is in its booming development period, and is promoting the development of the urban logistics industry greatly. However, the construction and operation of urban logistics implant may also bring pressures and negative influences to the urban traffic system. This thesis put forward the theory and method for the TIA of urban logistics implant, which will be significant to the study and practice on the traffic impact analysis of urban logistics implant.
