China is a country with a vast territory, a great amout of population and the distributing of resource out of proportion. It's important to the development of economic to develop transportation. For the virtue of high speediness, great capacity, energy source saved, security and little contamination, the transportation of railway will play a more and more important role in the future. It's the seedtime of the economic development of China, the speed and quantity of transportation is requested. In this situation, it is required that the railway network handle the arriving, shunting, departing jobs integratively. However, due to the fact that the shunting plan within technical stations is made up manually, which is bound to be influenced by the professional level of the staff, the hardware can not be fully and efficiently used.To improve the marshalling efficiency, we must analyze current train list and optimize the shunting plan by certain method. Actually, this method the method-based software has be implemented and tested in Guiyang station. However, as it is difficult to access data by accessing database, the information has to be obtained manually, which will inevitably cause some mistake and thus bring about hidden dangers and other unforeseen problems. So it is urgent for us to solve the problem of reading and writing data from the database. This paper proposes a hardware method to accessing the train list data and shunting plan data bypassing the database interface.Through thorough analysis and fieldwork on freight station and, the final plan is decided without influencing the former working procedure. Firstly, the data of train list is obtained from the parallel interface of the printer without interrupting the printer's working. Then, using he PS/2 bus protocol of Single Chip Micyoco, the "optimal shunting plan", which include the English letter , Chinese character, sign and keyboard control command, is made up by simulating the artificial keyboard. Finally, the accessing of data together with control command is completed through serial bus. In this project, the kernel hardware is SST89E564, which has serial interface built in, external interruption and regular interruption. Furthermore, the application of IAP technology tremendously improve the hardware development, updating and maintenance.Through the study of the printer-parallel-interface-based data accessing and storing system, my programming ability on computer interface has been improved a lot. Besides, I got acquainted with the IAP technology, which will be a basis for my future development.
