The electric voltage is a key index sign in the electric power system. So the electric voltage regulation is one of the main missions of the electric power system, the strong need for power supply is stable, continue and dependable.Because of the wave motion of the power supply electric voltage and the variety of the load size, the supply voltage of the system often takes place variety, severity, it will influence the work of the electric equipments. One effective method is use controller to control the on-load tap on-off switch, when the power supply is instable the first round electric resistance stick would be regulated. The key equipment of on-load regulate power supply system is on-load tap on-off switch controller, it is control centre of the power supply's system, its performance influences directly to the normal running of on-load regulate power supply system.This topic based on traditional single computer on-load tap on-off switch controller adding the optics-electric insulate and filter circuit insulate the electric circuit, the number of replay can be reduced and the performance of circuit can be enhanced. This design use PIC16F877 single-computer as a controller, by software logic control to realize the control and regulate to the on-load tap on-off switch. the interface between human and computer and PIC can be connected, setup through LCD and parameter can be transported to remote computer for remote control and no-human operation. to have precise data, The thesis has introduced the principle about measure circuit, on-off condition test circuit, drive circuit, LCD display circuit and communication circuit in the hardware design. The specific design can be seen in the software design.That controller can enhance the stabilizing of the system effectively and simplifying the system ware. It can operate on-off switch on load ,it can satisfy any need of transformer, and assure the quality of the outputting electric voltage.
