Strategic Research On Water Resources Sustainable Exploration And Utilization

The water resource as environmental component should keep balance ofenvironment; as a part of human life, it should keep safe; as economic resource, it shouldsupport economy. With the all-round development of our society and the implementationof sustainable development strategy, it is imperative to improve the exploitation of waterresource. Since economic development is in the urgent need of water, the 11th Five yearplan stresses that the priority should be given to the sustainable exploitation andshaping it into the water management thinking that sustainable development of waterresources ensures the economic development. How to facilitate the sustainableexploitation should be resolved.Daqing city is characterized by the crude oil and one of the cities short of water inthe inlands. Without the rivers or any other water resources, the water supply depends onthe underneath water, which caused the funnel in the east and west of the city. To ensurethe economic demand for water and make it more prosperous, it is very necessary tohold to the scientific development thinking to realize the sustainable exploitation andkeep human beings, resources, environment and ecosystem in harmony.The paper analyses current situation and the problems caused by exploitation underthe guidance of sustainable development thinking, and proposes the measures to properlyexploit water. It is theoretically conducive to building water exploitation strategy.
