| As a significant component of military strategies, Weapons and Equipments Development exerts a far-reaching impact on strenghening the battle effectiveness of our armed forces. This thesis hold the view that Strategic Environmental Analysis (SEAN) is the vital prerequisite for the updating of China's weaponry, pointing out that researches conducted on this field should adopt scientific appoaches, and that all the works should enjoy the purpose of solidating the army's technologic and material foundation after accurate and strategic decision-making. It also applies SWOT appoach to the SEAN for the weapons and equipments development strategy, and finally proposes a complete analysis process and a quantitative analysis method.To begin with, the thesis carries out a literature reviews on strategic environmental analysis(SEAN);Secondly, the concept of SWOT value is formed in the process of improving the conventional SWOT appoach through Delphi and hierarchical method.Then, the paper discusses the objectives, tasks and process of the SEAN;With the help of improved SWOT appoach, the last part of the paper conducts the SEAN on weapons and equipments development strategy and constructs a complete SWOT-based need analysis framework for it. In the following, a related study is briefly demostrated. |
