Firstly, this paper introduces the developing history, actuality and trend of embedded Internet technology .Then it analyzes and compares domestic and foreign development of embedded Internet technology, and concludes the major problems that exist in the embedded Internet when it is used in the area of industrial control. Further more, it probes into the developing and appling trend of embedded Web gateway based on CAN bus from many aspects.The study goal of this paper is to design and fulfill the embedded gateway system based on field bus (CAN). As the hinge where the field bus and Internet exchange the data,it can enhance the efficiency of monitoring the electric power systemDuring the design of the system,we adopted 32-bit CPU(ARM7TDMI) :LPC2292.For the design of software,we adopted three-layer structure, and applied embedded real-time operating systemμC/OS-II. For upper software, we mainly developed core software: embedded Web server, fulfilled the transmit of word, picture, especially for the module of CGI.During the design of CAN bus module,we adopted LPC2292,which is embedded with CAN controller. we designed the driver based onμC/OS-II. We mainly fulfilled the interrupt of CAN, optimized the transmit and receive of the CAN data, also we simply introduced the upper protocol of the CAN.Finally,we set up the testing and running environment,test the CAN communication and total system ,and analysed the results.
