With the rapid development of science and technology and the constant improvement of the social, the level of people’s living has been greatly improved, which is often associated with an increase in pressure. At the same time the pace of modem life has gotten faster and faster and the lifestyle has been brought a great changes. It brought about many primary disease, particularly heart disease. It is too late to find and save the sick man, and they died. More and more elderly is predisposed to cardiovascular disease, because of their bad health. It is too late to medical treatment and health checks, because of their action is inconvenient or remote homes and their children not in their side time. The health of the elderly and their medical treatment has become a very serious practical problems. In this situation, this paper design of ECG monitoring system based on embedded web server, which is simple to operate, economical and durable.This paper analyzes the developing status and application of ECG monitor were resumptively described over the world. The integrated design strategy of ECG monitoring system based on embedded web server were given, in view of the demand of current community medicine, combined with the characteristics of the ECG. According to the functional needs of the monitoring system, which uses the low-power, high-performance,32-bit ARM9microprocessor LPC3250as the main controller, we design ECG parameters acquisition module and gait parameters acquisition module with the characteristics of the two parameters. In the circuit of ECG signal acquisition module, we design a signal amplifier, a filter circuit and a anti-jamming circuit which can reduce the common-mode signal of the body surface and the lead wire distributed capacitance caused by the interference, therefore the quality of detected ECG signal is improved and it can also ensure the electrical safety of user; The transplant of Linux embedded operating system is transplanted successfully on this board. Through building a embedded Boa server, which makes embedded Web server function. Java Applet, CGI and HTML are used to develop ECG monitoring technology web. The dynamic webpage process the task acted on the EGC signal, such as sampling, analysis, waveform display and storage of data and downloading, remote playback of ECG data and display the result of arrhythmia analysis functions and so on. The users on Internet can visit this web server through wen broswer to monitor and control the embedded system remotely. The test results show that ECG monitoring system based on web server with the safe and reliable operation, good stability, strongly real-time, the highly accuracy ECG acquisition and the highly speed of network transmission. The system is suitable for using in hospital wards, community health care or network medical environment.
