Along with the economy development and internationalization of our country, energy shortage situation turns aggravate, the improvement of electrical energy quality and management of saving the losses have already been the most important content in the national policy . And the losses of the electrical energy in the power network was a important indicator for the National Inspection Electric power Department, which also prove the electrical power system plan design level and a management and operation level as a comprehensive technical specification. We designed a set monitor system based on the GPRS low voltage distribution, which had the theory significance and actual use value.We summarizes a real-time computational mathematics model to compute low-voltage power loss based on beforehand low-voltage power loss calculation in the theoretical , which may convenient, fast, carry on accurately calculates. The equipment may monitor the long-distance load, which may monitor the long-distance load spot, make the data gathering and the line-losses computation be more convenient.Wired long-distance monitor system can not be large-scale utilization as the distribution in our country is not so popular .In order to make the data collection be easier, we have developed one monitoring system based on the GPRS remote data transmission network, The system including a lot of RTU terminals, which can sample current and compute line-loss. According to the parameter preset by the control center and then send the data to the network through GPRS network. So the control center which must have the fixed IP address, can receive the working status data through INTERNET according socket protocol. Anymore the control center making use of monitoring client software can handle all these data, such as display, print, report and so on. Also the center can set terminals' working parameter and can make anyone of the terminals to send continues status data in order to analyses.This paper research results has laid the good foundation for the innovation and the development of the real-time monitor for our country low voltage distribution network.
