With the rapid development of electronic technology and wireless communication technology, especially be along with the GSM wireless networks, wireless remote data acquisition technology is applied to industrial data acquisition, and replace the traditional way to acquire data with a handheld device gradually. What Users need to do is installing a high precision sensor equipment in the industrial field, then they can obtain the real-time remote data through the wireless transmission technology.This thesis introduces a design of lampblack-machine data acquisition system based on GPRS and ARM. The system is designed to provide data support for the research and development projects of the ROBAM electric lampblack machine, and transfer real-time and accurate smoke data to the remote server by the wireless transmission. We divided this thesis into two parts, one is the design of data acquisition terminal, and the other one is data display & storage terminal. STM32 series processor with Cortex-M3 kernel is selected as the main chip to construct the data acquisition terminal. Firstly, the chip acquire the wind speed data and wind pressure data of high precision sensor by AD. Then, transfer the data to the GPRS module directly by DMA method. Lastly, the data is sent by GPRS wireless smoke module; We also develop an upper monitor software by C# to display and storage the data from the GPRS wireless smoke module, the software interface can display the data, meanwhile it also be able to store the data to Access database. Eventually we have modules tested respectively, and also test the stability of the system, the test results meet the requirements of the customer.At present, this technology has been used to wireless data acquisition in some industrial fields. While the real-time and accuracy of wireless network are been improving, the wireless system based on ARM and GPRS will be widely utilized in industrial control and data acquisition fields.
