Study On The Application Of Geographic Information System To Urban Road Intersection Plan

According to the data informations of the road intersection planning in certain scope of the new area in the north of the SongHua river in Harbin,The paper analyzes the present application situation of GIS as well as GIS in the transportation field in domestic and foreign, and it constructs the urban road intersection plan system based on the GIS.Firstly, the paper introduces the content of the plane intersection plan, and research emphatically the plane timing signal for the intersection applied widely today. Based on the research, it overall designs the intersection planning system. Through analyzing the system developing pattern, finally it uses module typed GIS to carry on two times of developments, and determines the overall construction flame of the system, then, it establishes the database of the space and attribute of the intersection planning system.After determining the technology route of the system and elaorateing the design and realization process of the system functions module at the same time, it emphatically introduces the realization process of the two-word module in the road intersection plan module. It introduces how to accomplish computing the signal intersection automatic matching-time,the design of traffic lane number and the intersection transportation appraisal target using the procedure,in the intersection plan and sub-module,according to the forecasting volume of traffic to the intersection and the standard cross section of planing road.The paper proposes the planning plan for the cross section of the intersection, according to the traffic lane determined by the module.It introduces how to make the system portray automatically the division of the road's red line for the intersection, according to the informations such as the planning plan for the cross section of the intersection,the coordinates of the point of intersection for the the road's red line,the road's deflection angle,the width of the entrance and the exit's red line of the intersection, the planning red line's length in the section changing gradually and the stretch section in the sub-module of the intersection plan.
