This paper focus on geographic information system applied in power supply enterprises, to small and medium-sized city distribution geographic information system design and development is rely on, analysed enterprise of current power supply for power transmission and distribution management malpractice, on the application of geographic information system in power transmission and distribution advantages in management are discussed, the current electric power GIS system cases were analyzed and compared. Through the use of the United States of America ESRI company research and development of powerful, stable ArcGIS platform as the two component developed to establish the current power supply enterprises of power transmission and distribution network topology analysis of medium and small city distribution network data model and the network graph, so as to solve the power supply enterprise distribution data management cumbersome, the problems of low efficiency, realize the power transmission and distribution device attribute data and spatial data integration management. This article main research work includes:In this paper first on the background and significance of the research are analyzed, on the power GIS application situation and existing business systems are described and analyzed, and puts forward the research and development of the system of the user interface, software and hardware environment and system quality requirements.According to the characteristics of the system requirements, the overall design of the system, the technical requirements of the system, the key technology selection, technology R&D line, the overall system structure and the model architecture is described in detail.Design method by analyzing customer needs, customer-oriented and spatial data management, description of system functions and detailed design ideas, detailed analysis of the system in the network planning, thematic map management, network operation analysis of spatial information query implementation.In the system design process by using multilayer architecture and open design ideas, gives the database environment description, naming rules, logic design, physical design, security design system, interface requirements and management maintenance of range of overall design is discussed in this paper, summarized the system database specific development train of thought, implementation of the system and the original or future embedded integrated system.Through the system to achieve business function description, showing system graphics modeling, thematic map management, network analysis, GPS repair vehicle management, remote meter reading information, real-time monitoring of transformer,95598query service, WEBGIS function, circuit three-dimensional management functions.The article summarizes all the work, a brief evaluation of the system to complete the overall situation, proposed the next development direction.
