A New Settlement Model With Characteristic Tourism Industry

In this paper, a discussion on a new construction model of a wide place in the road is made through the constructive detailed planning of Kuihu-media-culture town which is a practice on the edge of Wuhu city to show a town that isn't centralized by countries but urban new industry whose basic industry is not agriculture but cultural travel. This town is a new settlement model which is brought along by an aggregation of movie industry, traval industry and commercial industry and is also an exploration on the Huizhou settlement out of Huizhou. This paper focuses on these following issues: the conversion and transformation of the traditional local settlement, the type and characteristic of the new traveling-pattern settlement and the exploration and consideration on new type settlement model.Like anything in the world, model is never invariable. Traditional local settlements, with obvious regional trait, profound cultural connation and abundant modality of space and construction, inherit Chinese thousand-year civilization, which are regarded as the most common and concentrative material carrier in regional culture and previous inheritance from ancestor. This model and connation are based on close and autarkic farming world and natural economy when the feudal family and household are the units of manufacture.This traditional system of village and small town and resident pattern is no longer seasoned with modern Chinese society with fast urbanization and country industrialization. Today, with the fast growing urbanization and gradual conversion of industry configuration, new centralization model of settlements is bound to emerge as the times require, which embodies a new model of a wide place in the road around big cities or on the node of main stem with a theme that industry feeds back agriculture while cities help the rural areas.After entering 21 century, china is confronted with a conversion on society, economy and culture. In this period, we have to accelerate the layout and construction of modern settlement. Additionally, we should develop traditional culture within the construction of cities and countries during fast urbanization and build habitation and famous scenic spot full of regional trait.
