The Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM)has the advantages of small size,high power density,light weight and high efficiency.The speed regulating system consist of PMSM has a high performance and has been widely used in aviation,defense,transportation and other industries.The Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor is a multi input and multi output system and each variable has a great influence on each other.These determine the system’s characteristic with strong coupling.So,it could be necessary to make a deep research about the control strategy in order to get a better performance.The structure of the traditional PID controller is simple and easy to implement.The traditional permanent magnet synchronous motor vector control system usually uses PID controller.Because the motor’s parameters vary with the running conditions,in order to satisfy the required performance,it requires that the parameters of the PID controller also need to be changed at the same time.But,it is difficult for the traditional PID controller to do.As an intelligent control method,the fuzzy-control don’t depend on the object’s mathematical model and have strong robustness and strong anti-interference ability.In order to improve the robustness ability of PMSM vector control system,based on the PI control theory and the fuzzy control theory,this paper establish a Fuzzy-PI controller to change the PI controller’s parameters online through fuzzy inference.Firstly,the basic structure and principle of PMSM are introduced.Secondly,the principle of coordinate transformation is introduced in detail.The mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor was deduced and several common vector control methods for PMSM are summarized.Then,according to the theory of space vector pulse width modulation and its implementation algorithm,a detailed analysis has been carried on.After that,based on simulation software,the simulation model of PMSM vector control system based on the traditional PI controller and the fuzzy PI controller is established respectively.And then the performance had been compared.Finally,based on the Infineon XE164FN/XC2000 microprocessor,a permanent magnet synchronous motor vector control system platform has been built and the software has been designed on this platform.
