Design And Research On 70t Loading Capacity 3×20ft Container Flat Wagon

The paper firstly points out that the container transportation will make multiple means of transportation into practice in terms of railroad, water ways (sea and river), inner land and air freight as it enjoys itself with features of fast speed, less damage to the cargo, more areas covering, ride quality for transport of the cargo and low transportation cost, therefore, the container transportation has been widely adopted in the world. The paper presents several options of Chinese cutting edge container freight wagons that the capacity of railroad container transportation should be further strengthened so as to tailor the demand of fast development of national economy and development of railroad container transportation. The research results indicate that 70t-3x20ft container flat wagon should be preferred for use on the universal railroad under the current condition in accordance with the principle of multi-wagons in train and more containers being loaded on the wagon.Also, the paper presents the structure and parameters of container flat wagons in different time at home and abroad.The design program is finalized after careful analysis of design, comparison of several options for the existing flat wagon and the cutting edge flat wagon, structure optimization and analysis of the container lock, the relative calculation of the boundary condition is also carried out.A series of research has been carried out on the initial option so as to the design serving the requirement of reliability such as calculation of wagon body static strength, dynamic calculation of rolling stock, stress condition and service life on the basis of AAR freight wagon fatigue life forecast system.Lastly, the paper introduces in detail the method, test process and test results of wagon body static strength test and rolling stock dynamic test, the correlation between the test and the calculation is also performed. The properness and service reliability of the wagon is assured with the assistance the calculation and the test.
