Study On The Development Of Industry And Space Of The Town In Southern Jiangsu Province

The town development in southern Jiangsu Province has been the model in the process of urbanization, as the pattern as many other towns which followed the lead of Sunan Model competitively in china ever. But nowadays, within the development of economic globanization ,the model transformation of economic growth in Yangtze River Delta Region,the rapid change of domestic market envirement and the limits to towns themselves, the development of towns in southern Jiangsu Province face a new chance and challenge:the urbanization development strategy pushed forward by towns comes to an end in southern district of Jiangsu Province and the major cities and moderate cities,in urban system, have more effect on the economic development. So that the towns in southern Jiangsu Province meet a new development crossing after them making adjustments to themselves for new chances all the time.This paper reviews from the developing background and environment ,the complicated developing history several decades of towns which in southern district of Jiangsu Province and analyses the future regional industry and space development ,puts forward the advantage and the motion mechanism of space cluster industry developed more, and studies recombination and optimization of town space on the basis of industry cluster in regional space .Further more, this paper analyses the appropriate model of recombination and optimization for town space taking Changzhou for example . The conclusions of this paper are following : The towns around the megalopolises closely and on the major development direction of megalopolises will dissolve in those megalopolises, then become the new function notes of megalopolises; Towns around megalolises will evolve the satellite towns generally ,and take on the industry and population shifting from the centre of major cities. For the towns which are in the charge of county-level city of region, towns within perfect development conditions and prospects will develop into small sized cities, towns within ordinary conditions will continue to take on the role of central town ,but towns without appropriate conditions will be weakened.
