The surface polishing, considering A-alloy motor wheel complexity and diversity,hard of mechanically polish mode to realize,Manual polishing mode have become the most barrier to motor wheel industry development.The high efficiency and pollution-free methods of polishing being found by the wheel enterprises.So this paper research on the method of polish by digitizing for A-alloy motor wheel cured face, realized to wheel automatic polish. At first, this paper detail analysised and compared a variety of polishing methods for complexed surface, and in-depth investigated and studied existing polishing methods,and pointed out some merits and shortcomings.Then, the method of polish by digitizing for A-alloy motor wheel cured face was suggested. And a automatic prototyping was designed, it based this method..This paper detail elaborated the designed about each of mechanism, and presented mechanism position positive solution. Designed the polishing processing and the cutter trace. This paper detail elaborated the principle of digitizing control system and hardware and software. Adopt "grade type" control method, PC responsible of mutual management, Single-chip microprocessor responsible of contoling the bottom hardware. RS-232C is communication interface. The rotary photoelectric encoder was used to measure data. The motor wheel surface was descreted many of points, changed these points to digital data through the encoder and saved these points in PC. And presented the principle of double frequency and discerning direction and high precise counter to encoder, and control circuit. And it presented the processing method of measurement data in PC, and how to polish motor wheel by auto. The control software of prototype based on Windows platform, it has friendly graphical interaction interface.Finally, experiment results have been given and validated the method. The polishing efficiency was improved fifteen times at least than Manual polishing mode. And we got a series of processing parameter that have the practical worth to reference.
