As the modern highway transportation characterized with high speed, high traffic density, heavy load and channelized traffic, study on the technology of asphalt pavement have developed greatly and many methods had been applied to improve the performance of asphalt pavement, such as the SuperpaveTM, the technology of modified asphalt, the SMA, etc. Among them, the UINTAITE modified asphalt pavement is a successful alternative. It is expectative for both its eminent performance and simple construction technology, and its economical preponderance.Through the test of the UINTAITE and different gradations of asphalt mixture, this paper analyses the capability of the UINTAITE, and its influence on the home asphalt, expatiates the strengthening performance of the UINTAITE modified asphalt concrete pavement. First, through the performance test of the UINTAITE modified asphalt, this paper concludes that the UINTAITE is a natural additive of more bitumen and less ash and nitrogen content. So the UINTAITE can modify the road use performance and have no impression on .its lower temperature performance. Second, through the Marshall test of UINTAITE modified asphalt mixture, this paper also concludes the law of the Marshall test, and further on, offers the Marshall indexes of the UINTAITE modified asphalt mixture. Third, through the performance test of asphalt mixture, the paper summarizes the change law with the dose of the UINTAITE. On the other hand, based on the test-road construction of UINTAITE modified asphalt mixture, the thesis puts forward the design method of the UINTAITE modified asphalt mixture and the construction technology.The UINTAITE modified asphalt concrete pavement is worthy to popularize because of its excellent properties, favorable economic and social benefits.
