The Construction Technical Research Of SBS Modified Asphalt Concrete Pavement Of Provincial Arterial Highway S210

The composition of the common matrix asphalt determines the asphalt softening at high temperatures is easy,low temperatures embrittlement of the basic nature is easy,so difficult to meet the heavy axle-load and volume of modern traffic.The rapid development of economic has made great challenge to the traditional asphalt roads.SBS modified asphalt pavement with its excellent performance gained universal attention and in-depth development,so that in the world-wide asphalt modifier has more than 50%.In this paper,based on the modified upgrade project of Mongolia provincial arterial highway S210,which the following layer of the AC-20 C granular modified asphalt concrete and the upper layer of the AC-13 C fine-grained modified asphalt concrete.Study on the surface layer of arterial road with material selection,mix proportion design,construction technology and so on.The performance tests were conduct of the raw materials used in construction,the design grading to determine the structure,using the trial calculation method to determine the quality of aggregates of different size ratio.The Marshall test method and Superpave design method are used to compare the mix ratio of SBS modified asphalt concrete in the upper and lower layers.The results show that the Superpave method by gyratory compaction was used to determine the optimum asphalt is lower than the Marshall test method,but the test piece based on the rotary compaction method is more in line with the actual rolling method,therefor the mixture is more dense and has good road performance.The paper summarizes the construction process of the test section,and analyzes the construction scheme and technology,including the construction time arrangement and the related preparation,production and transportation as well as paving,compaction and quality control of asphalt mix.It is considered that the determination of the production mix ratio and the temperature control of the running process of the mixture are the key to ensure the quality of the construction.Through the detailed project in the selection of raw materials,determination of modified asphalt concrete gradation,mix design,production mix adjustment,machinery,technology and process control,the paper analyze the actual problems and solutions encountered in the construction,it provides a reliable reference for the actual engineering operation.
